Brainstorm Ideas

Posted on Wednesday, March 5, 2014

1. Think about an Issue

eg. I want to tell a story about ...
- people with weight issues
- teenage sex
- gangsters
- parent-children problems
- eating disorders

What if ...
- John wakes up and finds that he is all alone in the world, he finds out that everyone's died from a mysterious illness...
- Jane joins a gang after a heated argument with her parents when they criticized her friends

Lecturer believe he is always right even on pronouncing the students name. Example below:

2. Think about whether the issues relate to your target audience
Student's name was pronounced wrongly. (It happened in school)

3. think about what your key character is like and how he/she will deal and cope with the issues
Key Character: Lecturer
Lecturers trying to pronounce student's name but they were not pronounced correctly because he thought he was over 20 years of experience so "he is always right". Student will now try to explain to the lecturer that he pronounced it wrongly. However, he does not believe it and thought the student was trying to interrupt him.

4. loglines
Students of a substitute lecturer got themselves into trouble when trying to correct their name correctly when the lecturer pronounced wrongly and got pissed off.
